– Practice proper hydration
Even before you start getting into your workout routine, you should be getting into a habit of hydration. Make sure you keep plenty of water with you to sip while you exercise too.
– Ease into it
The higher temperatures have a huge impact on your workout. Slowly increase your intensity over a couple weeks to adapt to the heat. Even if you’re very fit, this is one tip not to miss!
– Dress right
Lightweight clothing, especially made from wicking materials, will help you stay cooler and more comfortable. When exercising outdoors, make sure you choose clothing that is light-colored to reflect the heat. Visors or hats should also be worn when taking to the outdoors, not to mention sunscreen.
